NACC in talks with Burapha University to incorporate anti-corruption laws into curricula
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC Office) of Chonburi held a discussion with Burapha University to consider incorporating anti-corruption laws into the undergraduate curricula.
On January 5, 2026, Mr. Suksan Prasarae, Director of the Chonburi NACC Office, joined a discussion on collaborative efforts to implement integrated measures to address corruption problems, together with other NACC executives, including Mr. Sornchai Chuwichien, Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC; Mr. Wattanachai Sommee, Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC Region 2; and Ms. Lalita Phochanaphan, Assistant Secretary-General of the NACC, and Burapha University representatives, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somtawin Jaritkhuan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Tienkaew Liemsuwan, Assistant Vice President for Infrastructure Development; and Mr. Somkid Petchprasert, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Law, at Burapha University in Chonburi Province.
The key issues discussed were: (1) the consideration on incorporating anti-corruption laws into educational curricula; and (2) making completion of the anti-corruption education course via e-Learning a condition for university admission.
Burapha University agreed to cooperate with the NACC Office in incorporating anti-corruption laws into undergraduate curricula. The university and the NACC Office will together study and decide on the scope of the subject.
Regarding the issue of making completion of the e-Learning anti-corruption course a condition for admission, the university will consider possible approaches.
This collaboration represents a unified and tangible partnership that will lead to the cultivation and instilling of a sense of integrity and honesty, fostering a culture of good citizenship, and promoting participation in combating corruption and misconduct.
