NACC monitors school entrance exams in Surin
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s Surin Provincial Office (NACC Surin Office) conducted site visits to observe the entrance examination for Grade 10 students at Surawittayakarn School and Sirindhorn School.
On March 29, 2026, Mr. Teerapong Yodkul, Director of the NACC Surin Office, assigned NACC officers to observe the entrance examination for Grade 10 students for the 2026 academic year at Surawittayakarn School and Sirindhorn School in Mueang Surin District, Surin Province.
At Sirindhorn School, the special class programme will accept 168 students and has received 708 applicants, while the regular programme is accepting 440 students, divided into 352 students from the same school in the third year of secondary school and 88 other students. 315 students from the same school and 210 other students applied.
At Surawittayakarn School, the special class programme will accept 102 students from 651 applicants, while the regular programme will accept 520 students, divided into 390 students from the same school and 130 other students. 486 students from the same school and 387 other students applied.
The NACC Surin Office provided recommendations regarding measures to monitor corruption in the selection examination for grade 10 students, to benefit those involved in the examination process, and emphasised the importance of officials strictly adhering to regulations and laws.
