NACC Bueng Kan conducts joint operation to enforce truck laws
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s Bueng Kan Provincial Office (NACC Bueng Kan Office) conducted an integrated operation to enforce land transport laws on trucks.
On May 5, 2026, Mr. Thanyapat Pramuanwit, Director of the NACC Nakhon Phanom Office, acting as the Director of the NACC Bueng Kan Office, assigned the corruption prevention group to conduct an integrated enforcement operation in according to the Land Transport Act of 1979 and the Road Traffic Act of 1979 at the public service point of Khok Kong and Chaiyaphon subdistricts on Chayangkun Road.
The integrated operation received cooperation from various agencies relevant to the problem of illegal trucks on the roads, including Bueng Kan Provincial Police Station, Bueng Kan Highway District, Bueng Kan Rural Highway District, and Seka Weighing Station.
The officers inspected and weighed a total of 18 trucks. It was found that one truck violated the law by being overweight, and another truck had a driver who failed to prevent cargo from falling, leaking, or being blown off the vehicle, which could cause danger or inconvenience.
The purpose of this integrated field operation was to help solve the problem of illegal trucks on the roads and reduce accidents.
