Locals Lodge Complaint to the NACC Chonburi to Inspect the Deteriorated Roads in the Bang Phra Sub-district Administrative Organization

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) office in Chonburi Province conducted a field inspection following complaints from locals about the damaged roads in the area next to the wall of Panya Resort Golf Course in Moo 10, Si Racha District. The roads, which were completed over seven years ago, have become worn and are now full of potholes and mud. The local authorities have been urgently notified to make the necessary repairs.

Kittipong Klipyam, the Director of the NACC Chonburi Provincial Office, has assigned the corruption prevention team of the NACC Chonburi Provincial Office to investigate the complaints made by the residents of the Bang Phra Sub-district Administrative Organization, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. The complaints were filed through the Facebook page of the NACC Chonburi Provincial Office regarding the road conditions in the Bang Phra sub-district, next to the wall of Panya Resort Golf Course in Moo 10, which are in poor condition and pose a danger to the public.

From the on-site investigation by the NACC Chonburi Provincial Office, it was found that in the area reported by citizens, there was a sign indicating the launch of a construction project by the Bang Phra Sub-district Administrative Organization, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. It detailed the construction work as a crushed stone road along the side of the golf course wall in Moo 10. The project, from the fiscal year 2014, had a budget allocation of 642,000 baht. The start of the construction work warranty was marked from December 2014, and the end of the warranty period was in December 2016.

The officials from the NACC Chonburi Provincial Office inspected the roads in the area as reported and found that the condition of the road surface was indeed damaged, with rugged dirt tracks and several areas deteriorated into pits and potholes, posing problems for the local residents and those commuting by car and motorcycle, especially during the rainy season, causing water to collect in the holes, which could be dangerous.

Consequently, the NACC Chonburi Provincial Office has coordinated with the Bang Phra Sub-district Administrative Organization to come in and repair and restore the road to a condition that ensures safe usage and convenience for future transportation.
