NACC join forces with PACC and OAG to inspect railway project

 

The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC Office) joined forces with the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) and the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand (OAG) to jointly conducted a on-site monitoring of the nationwide railway signaling system improvement project under the State Railway of Thailand (SRT).

 

On June 19, 2026, Ms. Ladda Duensawang, Director of the Anti-Corruption Measures Bureau, assigned Mr. Kritchai Promwan, Director of the Information Technology System Development Division for Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Prevention, along with officers from the Anti-Corruption Measures Division and the Investigation and Special Affairs Division of the NACC, to collaborate with the PACC and OAG to jointly conduct a site visit at the State Railway of Thailand, Rong Muang Subdistrict, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok.

 

The officers inspected the nationwide railway signaling system improvement project, specifically the procurement and installation of a signaling system on the Nam Tok tourist railway line of the Southern Line, between Sa Kosinarai Station and Nam Tok Station in Kanchanaburi Province. The project has a budget allocation of 554,250,000 baht. Currently, a committee is reviewing the project's bidding plan.

 

This site visit is part of the monitoring and follow-up of projects with allocated budgets of 500 million baht or more in the fiscal year 2026. The objective is to track progress and ensure transparent implementation.

 

The NACC focuses on the importance of information disclosure and verifiable work processes to ensure efficient operations and maximize benefits for both the public and the government.
