NACC joins hands with PACC to inspect Department of Probation project
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC Office) and the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) joined forces to conduct on-site monitoring and follow-up on projects of the fiscal year 2026 at the Department of Probation.
On May 7, 2026, Ms. Ladda Duensawang, Director of the Anti-Corruption Measures Bureau, assigned the director of the information technology system development group, along with officers from the anti-corruption measures and the information technology bureaus of the NACC, and in collaboration with the PACC, to conduct on-site monitoring and follow-up on projects which received budget allocation for the fiscal year 2026, with budgets of 500 million baht or more, at the Department of Probation, Chaeng Wattana Road, Thung Song Hong Subdistrict, Lak Si District, Bangkok.
During the on-site visit, the officers specifically monitored and followed up on the electronic monitoring (EM) device leasing project and related systems (Phase 3), with a contract value of 916 million baht, with clarification on the details and procedures provided by the Department of Probation.
The NACC and PACC officers jointly provided observations and guidelines to the Department of Probation to ensure the project’s transparency, accountability, and achievement of its objectives. Emphasis was placed on ensuring the project's completion and accuracy according to the contract, for the maximum benefit of the government.
