NACC monitors road projects of two Ayutthaya SAOs

The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Office (NACC Ayutthaya 2 Office) conducted site visits to inspect road improvement and light installation projects of the Sam Tum and Khlong Phraya Banlue Subdistrict Administrative Organisations (SAOs).

On August 7, 2026, Mr. Prinya Wikulsirirat, Director of the NACC Office, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, assigned the Corruption Prevention Group to observe the road improvement and light installation projects of the two SAOs.

The Sam Tum SAO is undertaking a project to construct an asphalt concrete road with solar-powered lighting in Village No. 4, Sam Tum Subdistrict, Sena District. The road is 5 meters wide, 1,097 meters long, and 0.05 meters thick. It includes the installation of 28 adjustable height street light poles with bridge gears and solar-powered LED streetlights. The budget is 5,422,000 baht, with one work phase. The SAO has inspected and paid for the work.

The representative from Sam Tum SAO stated that the reason for the project was that the original road was damaged and the adjustable height street light poles were chosen for ease of maintenance without the need for a crane.

The Khlong Phraya Banlue SAO’s project involves improving an asphalt concrete road in Village No. 2. The road is 4 meters wide, 864 meters long, and 0.05 meters thick. A 2-meter wide, 864-meter long retaining wall is also included, along with the installation of foldable streetlights with solar-powered LED lamps.
