NACC Region 1 Commends Ayutthaya Schools for Implementing Anti-Corruption Curriculum
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) Region 1 Office, along with the Ayutthaya NACC, praised educational institutions in the area for seriously integrating the anti-corruption curriculum into their teaching. They announced their commitment to collaborate in driving this curriculum forward with the Ayutthaya Provincial Administration, the Ayutthaya Provincial Education Office, Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 and 2, the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, and the Provincial Local Administration Promotion Office. Together, they aim to make the anti-corruption curriculum a tangible success.
Ms. Chadarat Anaka-orn, Assistant Secretary-General of NACC Region 1, stated that the NACC Office appreciates the efforts of schools and all relevant agencies in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province for prioritizing the implementation of the anti-corruption curriculum, making it a concrete reality. This curriculum is a crucial tool for instilling a sense of discernment between personal and public interests, fostering a sufficiency mindset, and developing behaviors that do not tolerate corruption. It aims to reform societal values and behaviors, ensuring honesty among the public, especially children and youth, as outlined in the National Strategy Master Plan. Currently, corruption remains a significant issue in the country. Therefore, educational institutions and related agencies, as the bodies responsible for educating students, must emphasize the importance of instilling anti-corruption values and creating a protective shield against corruption among the youth. However, confidence remains that all sectors will expand this collaborative effort, further enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of the anti-corruption curriculum. In driving the anti-corruption curriculum, the NACC Office in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province has coordinated with relevant agencies across the region. They have announced their commitment to collaborate with Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, the Provincial Education Office, Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 and 2, the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, and the Provincial Local Administration Promotion Office. Together, they aim to promote and support the anti-corruption curriculum, making it a tangible reality. Their goal is to instill an intolerance of corruption and cultivate honesty in the youth, who will become a vital force for the nation’s future.
