NACC Sakon Nakhon inspects 6 more water management projects
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s Sakon Nakhon Provincial Office (NACC Sakon Nakhon Office) conducted a site visit to monitor 6 water management projects under the economic development plan.
On April 2, 2026, Ms. Monyanis Pongpetchdit, Director of the NACC Sakon Nakhon Office, assigned a corruption prevention unit to continue the site visits following previous ones to monitor and observe the implementation of 6 important projects in Sakon Nakhon Province under the economic development plan of 157,000 million baht. These projects include:
- The Muang Lai-Don Kaeo Pumping Station and Water Supply System Project (Nong Han Development Master Plan), Muang Lai Subdistrict, Mueang Sakon Nakhon District, with a budget of 60,000,000 baht, implemented by the Sakon Nakhon Irrigation Project, Royal Irrigation Department.
- The Ban Khok Kong Pumping Station and Water Supply System Project, Phase 2 (Nong Han Development Master Plan), Khok Kong Subdistrict, Mueang Sakon Nakhon District, implemented by Sakon Nakhon Irrigation Project, Department of Irrigation, with a budget of 60,000,000 baht.
- The Ban Tong Khob Pumping Station and Water Supply System Project (Nong Han Development Master Plan), Tong Khob Subdistrict, Khok Si Suphan District, with a budget of 50,000,000 baht.
- The Groundwater Supply Project to Solve Drought Problems, Tong Khob Subdistrict, Khok Si Suphan District, with a budget of 91,681,700 baht, implemented by the Groundwater Resources Office, Region 10 (Udon Thani), Department of Groundwater Resources.
- The Nong Saeng Water Source Conservation and Restoration Project, along with a water distribution system, Ban Mai Si Suphan, Tong Khob Subdistrict, Khok Si Suphan District, with a budget of 29,800,000 baht, implemented by the Water Resources Office 3, Department of Water Resource.
- The Huai Long Conservation and Restoration Project, supporting the Nong Han Development Plan, Na Kaeo Subdistrict, Phon Na Kaeo District, with a budget of 210,037,600 baht, implemented by the Department of Water Resource, Regional Water Resource Office 3.
This field inspection initially revealed no evidence of corruption. The NACC Sakon Nakhon Office will continue to monitor the project to ensure transparency, cost-effectiveness, and maximum benefit for the local population.
