สำนักงานคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามการทุจริตแห่งชาติ ประจำจังหวัดยโสธร (สำนักงาน ป.ป.ช. ยโสธร) รุดตรวจสอบพิพิธภัณฑ์สิงห์ท่า หลังสื่อออนไลน์ท้องถิ่นนำเสนอพิพิธภัณฑ์ไร้เงาเจ้าหน้าที่ เสี่ยงทิ้งร้าง
วันที่ 23 มกราคม 2569 นายประกอบ มั่งคั่ง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงาน ป.ป.ช. ประจำจังหวัดยโสธร มอบหมายให้พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบ กรณีสื่อออนไลน์ท้องถิ่นนำเสนอพิพิธภัณฑ์สิงห์ท่าไร้เงาเจ้าหน้าที่ ทิ้งร้างจนคนสงสัย จากการลงพื้นที่ พบว่าพิพิธภัณฑ์สิงห์ท่าเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่เทศบาลเมืองยโสธรจัดทำเป็นโครงการปรับปรุงและตกแต่งอาคารเมืองเก่าบ้านสิงห์ของจังหวัดยโสธร เพื่อจัดแสดงทางประวัติศาสตร์ท้องถิ่นจนถึงปัจจุบันของจังหวัด ให้ประชาชนได้รับชมและศึกษาเรียนรู้และส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่ งบประมาณ เกือบ 3.9 ล้านบาท เปิดใช้งานเมื่อวันที่ 19 มีนาคม 2568 พบเจ้าหน้าที่คอยให้บริการจำนวน 1 ราย
จากการสอบถามเพิ่มเติม ได้เปิดใช้งานพิพิธภัณฑ์ดังกล่าวเป็นปกติ ไม่เสี่ยงทิ้งร้างแต่อย่างใด ส่วนใหญ่นักท่องเที่ยวเข้ามาชมศึกษาในช่วงวันหยุดแต่อาจจะไม่เยอะมาก ภายในอาคารมีสภาพที่สมบูรณ์ทุกอย่างสามารถใช้งานได้
อย่างไรก็ดี การเปิดให้บริการพิพิธภัณฑ์สิงห์ท่ามีงบประมาณค่าบำรุงดูแลรักษา สาธารณูปโภคต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้น หากไม่มีนักท่องเที่ยวหรือประชาชนและหน่วยงาน เข้ามาศึกษาดูงานตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่ตั้งไว้ อาจเสี่ยงเรื่องของความไม่คุ้มค่าได้
ทั้งนี้ ทางพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ ได้รวบรวมข้อมูลเพื่อจะได้นำเสนอแนะต่อหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบ ในประเด็นเรื่องของการจัดทำวางแผนการเปิดให้บริการ และการประชาสัมพันธ์สร้างการรับรู้ในพื้นที่ในทุกช่องทางสำหรับการเปิดให้บริการดังกล่าว เพื่อให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพต่อไป

NACC Yasothon Office inspects Singha Tha Museum in response to online speculations of it being abandoned
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s Yasothon Provincial Office (NACC Yasothon Office) investigated the Singha Tha Museum after local online media reported that the museum was deserted and at risk of abandonment.
On January 23, 2026, Mr. Prakob Mangkang, Director of the NACC Yasothon Office, assigned officers to investigate the case following local online media reports suggesting the museum was deserted and at risk of abandonment. The investigation revealed that the Singha Tha Museum is a museum built by the Yasothon Municipality as part of a project to renovate and decorate the old town building of Ban Sing, Yasothon Province, to showcase local history up to the present day, for public viewing and learning, and to promote tourism in the area.
The museum project costed almost 3.9 million baht and opened on March 19, 2025. One staff member was found on duty.
Further inquiries confirmed that the museum is operating normally and is not at risk of abandonment. Most tourists visit during holidays, but the numbers may not be high. The building is in good condition and fully functional.
However, NACC Yasothon Office concluded that as the operation of the Singha Tha Museum involves maintenance costs for utilities and other expenses, the museum project may not be cost-effective if it does not attract tourists and the public.
Therefore, the museum staff will compile information to present to the responsible agency regarding the service and publicity through all channels in to ensure its effectiveness.
