NACC moves ahead to create “No Gift” culture

The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has organised activities to mark the NACC Good Governance Promotion Day 2023, emphasizing the values of transparency and good governance. The “No Gift” policy was among the key topics of this year’s event.
Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC Uthit Buasri said the NACC had been operating with good governance and providing support for government agencies for over 20 years to create an environment conducive to moral and ethical development. The NACC Good Governance Promotion Day 2023 was an important opportunity to promote the “No Gift” culture and encourage NACC staff to work with integrity.
The NACC aimed to set an example for good governance for people in the society, hoping to gain their confidence and cooperation to fight corruption, he said.
The NACC Good Governance Promotion Day 2023 reminded all NACC staff of their responsibility for people and the country, the Deputy Secretary-General added. They must perform their duty with honesty and fairness to all without discrimination and fear of any power.
The NACC would always make sure that its staff work in accordance with professional standards and accountability requirements to develop the NACC as an organization for the people, Mr. Uthit said.
